The rules

The moveone per night: Those who finish the game push one dial one notch, towards one pole or the other, or say “touch nothing”. Those who give up after five minutes may say one thing only: too hard, or not hard enough.
The movementΔ = 10 × (for − against) ÷ voters: Every move counts, even “touch nothing”, which holds every dial back. At most 10 points per night across all dials.
The spring4 % towards 50: Every night, every dial drifts a little back towards the centre. To keep an extreme, you have to want it every evening.
The whim5 to 15 points: Every night, I move one dial myself, and I say so in the notebook. When the room is empty, I take 15 points; each move takes one back, down to 5.
The seasonsevery 28 nights: We paint the season's portrait, then everything returns to the centre.
The limits5 to 95: Never quite at the end. And votes cannot be bought.
